Welcome Home Elder Anderson

My brother came home from his mission on September 9. It was so exciting to see him. All my family was home and we were all together again, it was so fun. The day started out with going to the stockshow to watch Brian show his lamb, then we headed to Laurie and Ladd's house to make the sign and get ready to go get Brad. We then found out that his plane was delayed for an hour so we headed to the park so the kids could get out some energy. Finally we went to the airport it get Brad. We had fun waiting for him but I don't think anybody else in the airport had fun with us there, but I think they understood. Finally his plane landed and they let him off very first. It was so fun to watch him walk off the plane. We could definitely tell that he had grown up. Once he came in the airport doors we was smothered by people. He had to meet five new nieces and nephews, and pretty much remeet the rest of the family. We had all the nieces and nephews wear shirts with their names on them so it was easier for Brad to know who they were. The funny thing was that Brad really did use the shirts to help him. After we took pictures and settled down we headed back to Beaver for a BBQ. We had a lot of fun and are so happy that Brad served a successful mission and is home.

Waiting patiently for Brad to get there

Here we are a about ten minutes after he came into the airport

Here we are waiting for his plane to land

Here is Brad with all the grandkids. It isn't a very good picture because all the kids wouldn't cooperate, but what do you expect when you have 12 kids under the age of 6.
